Entering the 5G era, battery performance has once again become one of the important considerations for everyone to buy mobile phones. In order to develop better batteries, Samsung thought of using quantum computers to help. This tech giant chose to partner with Imperial College LondonCooperation, Usage Honeywell The System Model H1 quantum computer accelerates to answer various complicated battery development problems.

As the first step, the research team wanted to start by testing the properties of “magnetism” and use it to simulate a quantum mechanical “interactive spin” dynamic mathematical model. It is said that up to 100 sets of dual-qubit gates will be used for simulation, which will bring accurate results with a fidelity of at least 99.5%.

In other words, Samsung is not the first to use quantum computers to improve products.BMW Similar research has been done. However, if Samsung can make a breakthrough in battery development, it is believed that it will also bring them better technologies than rivals and enhance the competitiveness of the overall product.
