JAKARTA (RIAUPOS.CO) – Samsung Electronics Indonesia officially launched its folding cellphone duo, namely the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. This local launch follows the announcement made by Samsung globally about three weeks ago which presented for the first time the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5.
The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is claimed to come with significant feature upgrades but remains at the same price as its predecessor, the Z Fold 4. Samsung delivers powerful performance on this phone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy which was not embedded in the previous generation.

This makes the performance of the device more powerful and makes it easier for users to open multiple applications at once or even experience an anti-lagging gaming experience at any time.
The Galaxy Z Fold 5 also features Zero-gap Hinge innovation which makes the cellphone thinner, lighter and sturdier. For users, this device provides comfort when held so that it is easy to carry anywhere and supports more stable productivity on a daily basis.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 has tighter folds. The big change is in the hinge which is tougher and can be effectively opened and closed hundreds of thousands of times. It’s also thinner when folded, measuring 13.4 mm thick from 14.2 mm, as well as being 10 grams lighter.
On the inside there is the main screen with thinner bezels and there are volume and power buttons on the right side. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 has a Dynamic AMOLED panel for the 7.6-inch main screen and 6.2-inch front (cover screen), and supports refresh rate 120Hz.

While other devices, namely the Galaxy Z Flip 5, are also said to come with significant improvements but are still affordable. In fact, the price of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is said to be the same as the Galaxy Z Flip 3 which hit the market two years ago.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 comes with a larger cover screen. This screen is also super AMOLED measuring 3.4 inches with a resolution of 720 x 748 megapixels. A cooler design upgrade is in the new hinge which is made more efficient. When the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is in the folded position, there is no gap in the fold.
