The idea comes from a recent patent filed by Samsung.
On the front of patents technology we often see ideas particularly innovative but maybe what you are about to read you haven’t imagined it yet. The news comes from Samsung and concerns the sector of ricarica wireless.
What you see in the pictures in the gallery is a ring that should be able to charge wirelessly your smartphone. Samsung’s idea was recently patented and its most interesting aspect concerns the source charging: the ring would in fact be able to storing energy coming from the user’s body who wears it, for example through his movement, across the heat generated by his body and by mechanical stresses that he imprints on the ring.

The coil that we see implemented within the ring structure would serve the energy transmission for wireless charging. Samsung’s idea it is not limited to the structure of the ring: the South Korean manufacturer dares that this type of recharge could be implemented in larger everyday objects, such as bracelets e glasses.
Clearly they arise different technical limits for Samsung’s idea: the patent does not address the issue of capacity implemented in the ring, given his small size. At the moment it is not known if Samsung plans its production in view of a possible commercialization. We will keep you updated on upcoming developments.
