Samsung A52 SE sells in two versions, basic and with 5G support. And it was the second manufacturer that improved it and designated it the A52s 5G. It is likely that both versions will be sold in parallel for at least some time, if one of them will not be sold out. But such details are not known at this time. So far, only the British branch of the brand has announced the novelty.
In any case, if you decide between the two versions, then the new one is objectively better and the difference in price will be minimal. The current Samsung A52 5G is for sale for CZK 10,990, the improved variant will cost CZK 11,490. If the improved model replaces the original one on the market, it is definitely worth the wait. Sales in Britain will begin in September.
In earlier speculations, there was also talk of an improved basic version, but Samsung has not introduced it yet. In the Czech Republic, there would certainly be more interest in it.
The design does not change, the improved A52s 5G model does not differ in appearance from the original one. So it will be available in several color variants (black, white, purple and mint, which is new) and has a plastic body. Durable, the phone meets the IP67 standard.
The difference can be found under the hood, where the new Snapdragon 778G processor is located instead of the original Snapdragon 750G. Let’s add that the basic variant without 5G has a Snapdragon 720 chip. The power difference between the two chips is quite significant, especially with regard to the minimal difference in the price of both versions of the phone. In GeekBench 5, the difference is 20 percent in the single-core test, and in multi-core even about 43 percent.

Snapdragon 778G is manufactured with more modern 6nm technology and has a higher clock frequency. It also has another architecture 1 + 3 + 4 cores, 750G has 2 + 6 cores. The memory set does not change, only one variant with 6 GB of operational and 128 GB of user memory will be available in Europe.

Other parameters are the same. The 6.5-inch display has a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The main camera it has four lenses, the main one has a resolution of 64 Mpix and has optical stabilization. Which is little seen in the middle class. The wide-angle lens has a resolution of 12 Mpix, then there is a macro and a depth of field sensor. The front camera has a resolution of 32 Mpix. The charger is 25W.
