Samsung Accidentally Confirms the Presence of the One UI 5.1 Update, What Smartphones Get?

Previously, Samsung had launched One UI 5 for all device users in stages. The latest version of One UI comes with a number of improvements, both in appearance and available features.

One of the improvements can be seen from the security side. In One UI 5, Samsung is now presenting a Security and Privacy Dashboard that is easier for users to manage.

“The security and personal information protection menus have been combined, informing users of information that may be at risk. In one menu that is easy to access,” wrote Samsung in its official statement, Saturday (31/12/2022).

With one menu accessed, dashboard in One UI 5 it is now possible to display the security status of each item, so users can change settings quickly and manage risk more easily.

Items such as Lock Screen, Accounts, SmartThings Find, App Safety, and Update can now be accessed directly at the top of the dashboard. Then, there are also intuitive warnings in red, yellow and green as clear indicators when there is a security problem.

Manage Ads Easily

For users who don’t want to be invaded by advertisements, they can open the Security and Privacy Dashboard, then click the Privacy tab. After that, open the Ads menu and select ‘Delete AD ID’.

In this way, Samsung Galaxy device users can avoid unwanted recommendations when they shop, including when using their favorite apps.
