Sampdoria sale, the offer presented on December 10 by Merlyn expires: Massimo Ferrero must compromise
Merlin Partner does not want to be cornered by Maximum Ferrero and the trustee Gianluca Vidal. The objective of the investment fund is to save the Sampdoria from economic instability and fail to safeguard the assets of the Ferrero family and the decayed companies, to which the former president has linked the fate of the Sampdoria club. The official offer, presented to Vidal on 10 Decemberit will expire tomorrow 14 December and does not seem inclined to grant extensions. Ferrero had five days to reflect on the proposal which could save Sampdoria, but which would bring him and his family no benefit. As reported Milan Finance, Merlyn communicated to the BoD the possibility of immediately subscribing the 30 million euro capital increase and immediately injecting another 20 million of resources into the club’s coffers. Ferrero has not yet responded to either Merlyn or the advisor Lazard.
