Sama Ibrahim Wins Favorite Athlete Award at World Muay Thai Championship

The award for best player in the World Championship came to Sama Ibrahim, a player in the under-14 stage, after she presented a performance that astonished all attendees at the tournament, which was held during the period from September 29 to October 8 of this month in the city of Antalya, Turkey.

Mohamed Ibrahim praised the performance of the team’s players during the World Championship, led by Sama Ibrahim, after she won the Best Player Award.

The Egyptian Muay Thai team succeeded in winning 8 various medals in the World Junior and Junior Championships in Turkey.

The Pharaohs won 3 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals. The gold medals went to the players, Norseen Walid, Sama Ibrahim, and Jumana Walid, while the silver medals were won by Malak Al Badi.

Fares Qawra, while the bronze medals were won by Zakaria Walid, Aryam Magdy, and Rania Ramli.

Mohamed Ibrahim, President of the Egyptian Muay Thai Federation, praised the results of the Egyptian delegation in the World Championships for Seniors and Juniors after their success in reaching the podium and securing the largest possible number of medals after very strong competitions between the countries participating in the World Championship.

The national Muay Thai team participated with a delegation consisting of 13 male and female players, namely Zakaria Walid, Fares Qora, Anas Essam, Dhikra Salah, Jumana Walid, Arslan Wael, Aryam Magdy, Sama Ibrahim, Jannat Refaat, Habiba Muhammad Salem, Norseen Walid, Rania Adel, King of Badi.

The list of players participating in the competitions includes a number of world champions from the previous season, namely Zakaria Walid, first in the world, Jumana Walid, second in the world, and the duo Arslan Wael and Sama Ibrahim, third in the world.

The national Muay Thai team delegation was headed by Mohamed Ibrahim, president of the federation, engineer Ahmed Ramadan, treasurer, Dr. Refaat Ahmed Jaber, technical director, and Wael Fehr, coach.
