Salvatore Ferragamo yields 2.79% to 16.04 euros after the publication of an annual turnover penalized by confinements. In 2020, the Italian luxury house achieved a turnover of 916 million euros, down 33.4% at constant exchange rates. In the fourth quarter alone, sales fell only 19.9%. In a statement, the brand recalled that its activity had been severely affected by the health crisis.
From a geographic perspective, sales in Asia Pacific fell 25% last year, including 11.2% in the last quarter. Sales in Japan fell 25% (-7.4% in the last quarter). The Asian continent accounted for half of total sales.
The Europe, Middle East and Africa zone saw its turnover fall by 41.9% (-34% in the last quarter). In North America, the decline reached 29.5% (-2.5% in the last quarter).
