The trip from Celaá to Bilbao for a medical visit
The Minister of Education, Isabel Celaá, traveled to Bilbao this Friday after the declaration of the state of alarm decreed by the Government of Pedro Sánchez in nine municipalities of the Community of Madrid, including the capital, and that prevents leaving these locations. PP, Citizens or Vox have censured that this measure is skipped.
The minister was in Bilbao this Thursday, where she has her habitual residence, in anticipation of attending an event in Pamplona this Friday with the Interior Minister, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, and the president of Navarra, María Chivite. This act was finally annulled due to the convocation of the extraordinary Council of Ministers to decree the state of alarm, an appointment that has forced Celáa to travel to Madrid first thing in the morning.
During the night, the minister suffered an indisposition, as sources from her team have explained to Europa Press, and has decided to return to Bilbao for a consultation with her usual Primary Care doctor.
