Oust to Brocéliande

The CM1 and CM2 of the Ste-Marguerite school in Saint-Guyomard spent a week in La Bourboule in the Puy de Dôme. With their teacher, two companions and the CMs of the Ste Anne de Ruffiac school, they visited the Toinette Museum in Murat-Le-Quaire and hiked in the Massif du Sancy. With guides, they were able to appreciate the local fauna and flora. After the guided tour of the medieval castle of Murol, they discovered how Saint Nectaire is made. They also investigated around the Lemptégy Volcano to find out the origins and the functioning of an extraction quarry. The hike to the top of Puy de la Vache made everyone happy. Before heading back, the students traveled virtually to the heart of a lava flow at the Grotte de la Pierre de Volvic.
Full of memories, the CMs returned delighted with this educational stay.
