Sah, Darmin Nasution Becomes the President Commissioner of Smartfren

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Former Coordinating Minister for the Indonesian Economy Darmin Nasution is validly designated as Commissioner Main or President Commissioner Smartfren.

President Director of Smartfren Merza Fachys hopes that Darmin’s entry can maintain sustainability and strengthen the path of Smartfren to be even more developed.

According to him, Gandi Sulistiyanto, who previously served as President Commissioner of Smartfren, remains on the board of directors by serving as Vice President Commissioner.

“Mr. Gandi Sulistiyanto, our previous President Commissioner, will then continue with us as representatives president commissioner. Thus we believe our team can be stronger from today onwards, “he said.

In addition, regarding the revenue growth that Smartfren managed to get in 2019, Merza admitted that it was encouraged by the increase in the number of subscribers. If in 2018 the number of subscribers was 12.3 million, in 2019 it increased to 23.5 million subscribers.

Meanwhile, Smartfren’s income also grew, if in 2018 it was recorded as much as Rp. 5.490 billion, now in 2019 it will increase to Rp. 6.988 billion.

“There was an increase of 27 percent in income,” he said.
