Transferred to the Hawks at the deadline, Saddiq Bey should play tonight for the Falcons. Able to contribute to both scoring and defense, the latter was a regular player in three seasons with the Pistons.
Good news for Hawks fans: Saddiq Bey should be available tonight against the Hornets. The winger will thus play his first game for Atlanta. As a reminder, the latter was transferred before the deadline from the Pistons to the Hawks, in a 3-way exchange between Detroit, Atlanta and Golden State.

At the Pistons, Bey had asserted himself as a solid rotation player. Picked up in 19th place in the 2020 NBA Draft, the winger turned out to be a mini steal. In fiscal year 2022, Saddiq Bey played all 82 matches, being the Pistons’ third offensive option behind Jerami Grant and Cade Cunningham.
Of course, the Pistons’ squad is not the strongest at the moment, but this is a performance to be highlighted for a player who was only a sophomore. Many remember his brilliance against the Magic last season: Saddiq Bey had recorded his career high with 51 points, showing his value to the big leagues.

This season, Bey is another example of consistency, having played all 52 games in 2023. With 14 points and 4 rebounds on average, accompanied by significant defensive efforts, Saddiq Bey will be a very useful teammate for Trae Young and his team.
