After a late 1-0 (0-0) win at VfB Oldenburg, 1. FC Saarbrücken remains in the promotion race of the 3rd football league. Marvin Cuni scored a penalty kick in the 85th minute on Sunday for the Saarlanders to succeed. With three games left to play in fifth place in the table with 62 points, they are just one point behind a direct promotion spot.
