Europe’s largest low-cost airline, laudamotion mother Ryanair, stopped all flights for at least two months on Tuesday due to the coronavirus pandemic. The company currently assumes that there will be no flights in April and May, Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary said in Dublin.
Ultimately, it depends on government orders. Nobody knows how long the pandemic will last. However, according to O’Leary, Ryanair is ready to fly back stranded passengers or, for example, to take part in medication deliveries.
The Irish airline announced this step about a week ago. At that time, the airline was planning to cut its offer by up to 80 percent. As reported, AUA and Laudamotion announced on March 16 that they had ceased operations.
