Ruud de Wild is happy that his follow-up scan came back positive. The Radio 2 NPO presenter was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2021. He has now been declared clean but De Wild needs to stay under control for the rest of his life.
De Wild admits he was “nervous for months” about this scan. “Waiting is sometimes good. Waiting is sometimes hell. For example, on the result of a scan,” writes the 53-year-old DJ Instagram. “Fortunately the result was good. Now keep it up.”
De Wild then turns to his girlfriend Olcay Gulsen. “Dear Olcay, now I will be more relaxed with you.” The radio host has already mentioned this A.D know that during his illness a lot of support due to her. “She helped me through it.”
