VVD leader Rutte would prefer to form a new coalition with the current four government parties. “That would be our preferred variant,” he says in the NOS formation vlog Rondje Binnenhof. “The ChristenUnie, we can work well with that.”
Rutte already said yesterday after a conversation with informateur Hamer that he wants to discuss a coalition of four parties: VVD, D66, CDA. and a smaller party. Until now, he has not openly expressed a preference.
As far as he is concerned, one can look at Volt, JA21, PvdA or GroenLinks. But preferably to the current government partner ChristenUnie, he says in the weekly formation vlog of the NOS:
