Russia’s second Covid-19 vaccine is claimed to be immune to the Coronavirus for 6 months

THE MIND OF THE PEOPLE – Russian authorities have agreed the Covid-19 vaccine both for general use in society.

Similar to the first vaccine, this second vaccine also received criticism from scientists.

Quoted Pikiran-rakyat.com from Express, the second Russian vaccine called EpiVacCorona is able to make patients immune to the corona virus for 6 months with just two injections.

The EpiVacCorona vaccine was developed by the Vector Institute in Siberia and was tested among 100 volunteers in an early stage placebo-controlled trial, which lasted more than two months and was completed two weeks ago. The volunteers were between 18 and 60 years old.

The scientists behind the injection refused to publish the results of an early-stage trial, but they insist the vaccine is safe.

They also said EpiVacCorona will enter phase three trials after approval in November 2020.
