Hisense acquired the Toshiba television division in 2018. The company combined production and technology, ensuring the sharing of resources and unique technological advantages, sharing with Toshiba R&D data, sources of supply, production and sales. This allegedly led to a reduction in Toshiba production cycles and lower development costs.
Currently, Toshiba 4K UHD SmartTVs of the U5865 and L5865 series with 32, 43, 50 and 55 inch diagonals are presented in Russia. In the near future, Smart TV panels of the L5069, U5069 and other families will become available.
