He noted that the main goal of the newly created group would be to bring to justice all Russians who committed atrocities on the territory of Ukraine.
According to Garland, the group will be led by one of the most prominent Nazi hunters in the US Department of Justice, Eli Rosenbaum. It will be composed of experts in investigations related to human rights violations and war crimes.
He also added that Rosenbaum became famous for the deprivation of citizenship and the deportation of more than a hundred Nazis who were in the United States.
At the same time, the US Department of Justice will send three more prosecutors to advise Ukraine.
