“Russian victory in spring?”: Details of Shoigu’s report

/Pogled.info/ At a meeting at the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the head of the department, Army General Sergei Shoigu, stated in his report about the defeat of the Ukrainian army. During this speech, the armed forces of Ukraine attacked our territory with rocket and artillery strikes. What the minister said and what is happening in the special operation zone.

The words of the Minister of Defense, spoken at the ministerial meeting, left few people indifferent. They are cited and discussed.

“Ukraine’s forces are being depleted, and the demoralization of the personnel is growing,” he said.

“Despite the delivery of new types of weapons to NATO, the regime in Kiev has been defeated. The Russian group of troops continues to conduct an active defense, inflicting effective fire damage on the enemy,” said the head of the defense ministry.

Shoigu said that our troops are actively leaving the enemy without military equipment: the Ukrainian armed forces lost six expensive American Atacms missiles and 37 fighter jets in a month.

“37 aircraft is almost twice the number that is guaranteed to be delivered to Ukraine for F-16 aircraft. That is, with our air defense system operating in this way, this is about twenty days of work,” Shoigu said.

The minister noted that the units of the Russian army “are moving forward, occupying advantageous lines and positions”.

“No attacks are expected. The enemy is constantly trying to break through, gathering forces. We repel attacks. Positional battles continue in Avdeevka. The coke plant is intact,” writes political scientist Igor Skurlatov.

He notes: The Russian armed forces continue to operate within a defensive concept. Which, by the way, is confirmed by the quoted words of Shoigu about “active defense” and “more advantageous lines”.

According to the information from the fronts, although the Russians are advancing near Avdeevka and Kupyansk, it is insignificant. At the same time, the territories of Russia that were officially returned home remain under the enemy: Slavyansk, Kherson, Zaporozhye, Krasni Liman.

The West will not give up on Ukraine

In his Telegram channel, political scientist Sergey Markov made it clear that the amount of destroyed equipment has not yet affected the combat capability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russia will win because the US will cut funding to Ukraine.”

“This fairy tale is being told to us by those who have been telling us fairy tales for eight years that we will win because the regime in Kiev will collapse on its own. The West will not stop financing the Ukrainian project because they consider it strategically important and stunningly successful for its interests,” he noted. Markov.

Crimea and Donetsk are under attack again

Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev’s call to the city’s residents to “keep calm and observe security measures” did not seem victorious at all.

And most importantly, “don’t be in open space” because “in the case of an air defense operation, the main danger is from shrapnel.”

The governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, bluntly advised his compatriots:

“Our anti-aircraft gunners have just repulsed a massive enemy missile attack on the southern regions of Russia. Seven missiles were shot down over the area, flying towards Crimea.”

The “demoralized” enemy again attacked Crimea and Zaporozhye with missiles. Fortunately, the anti-aircraft defenses worked extremely well. There are no casualties or destruction.

Donetsk took it, with a girl killed in her car as a result of shelling. The rockets flew towards the Yasinovatsky district in the long-suffering Shebekino, where there were wounded.

What’s wrong with Avdeevka?

According to the analytical telegram channel NgP Razvedka, the situation in the Kherson direction continues to remain constantly difficult.

“The enemy is increasing the number of units on the left bank, the manpower of the enemy here is no less than a company. Mortars of different calibers are operating from Krinki, the approaches to the village and inside the village itself are well shot. Assault groups cannot break through anything like in one fell swoop.”

And near Avdeevka, the complete capture of the settlement is still far away.

“Reports from the northern flank about the occupation of the western side of the railway line by our forces do not correspond to reality: the reconnaissance was carried out by force, positions were not occupied,” the source reported.

Do they want to freeze the conflict?

At the same time, Sergei Shoigu’s words about “comfortable borders” have raised fears among many that the conflict is heading for a freeze.

“Sergei Shoigu deserves to become the marshal of the Victory, but not of the freezing, that is, of the defeat of Russia. Of course, he is obliged to make the right statements,” wrote the head of the department of the Institute for the CIS countries Kirill Frolov.

“But I would like to rule out the possibility that behind this was not just a desire for appeasement, but a specific understanding of victory, namely forcing Ukraine to freeze. It was as if they were almost forced,” he added.

When will we attack?

Tsarigrad spoke with the assistant commander of the Cossack sabotage-reconnaissance unit “Enisei” Alexey Selivanov about the possibility of freezing the conflict.

— The change in the nature of hostilities, connected with the onset of cold weather, presupposes precisely the occupation of advantageous defensive positions.

If in the summer infantry, artillery and tanks were concentrated in forest belts, now other lines are needed for camouflage and warming of the troops, preferably permanent buildings. And with the onset of winter, the enemy tries to take away our advantageous positions.

Is there a war going on for winter quarters?

“Not having the strength to capture Soledar and Bakhmut, where our units are located, the Ukrainian armed forces are fighting for Klescheevka and Andreevka, for the railway embankment next to them, as well as for Berkhovka.

Because it will be more difficult to get them out from there. We are successfully pushing them out of these positions. The configuration of the front with which we will meet the winter will also determine the lines from which the Russian army will carry out further operations. Including offensive ones.

Will there be an offensive?

— Without offensive actions, the special military operation cannot complete and liquidate the hotbed of terrorism and war that the Ukrainian regime has turned the historical lands of southern Russia into.

This means that there is no need to talk about any kind of “freeze”. The Russians can stabilize the front for a while by gathering forces. But this must inevitably be followed by an offensive.

So what?

Yes, the Ukrainian army is seriously battered in the battles with the Russian troops, but nevertheless it is able to cause us serious problems. And Victory is still far away – only a quarter of the lands of Southwestern Rus have been liberated.

Until there is complete liberation, the West will continue to pump its puppet army with weapons, and the Ukrainian armed forces will continue to pound Russian cities and villages. Therefore, we will wait for the spring, which, we believe, will bring a victorious offensive to the Russians. And liberation.
