Russian Propaganda and Accusations: Did Ukraine Really Blow Up the Dam on Zelensky’s Orders?

The Ukrainians allegedly blew up the dam on the orders of Zelensky, who has not the slightest intention of preserving the country’s territory, as his only goal is to destroy Russia.

Political scientist, professor of the Higher School of Economics Dmitrijs Yevstafievs went even further. He declared that the Ukrainians were worse than Hitler, because unlike Hitler, who had understandable goals, the only reason why Ukraine allegedly committed war crimes was for propaganda purposes, in order to later insult Russia.

Yevstafiev also declared that the Ukrainian armed forces were a zombie army, unable to feel pain and walking dead. At the same time, propagandists led by Simonyan lied that the Ukrainians were shooting at the evacuation buses of civilians. So to speak, the bigger the lie, the greater the degree of credibility.

On the other hand, retired general Yevgenii Buzhinsky expressed that “we don’t have to be holier than the Pope” and the Russians could blow up the Kyiv water reservoir. To the question of Yevgenii Popov, the host of the program, what it will give us, Buzhinsky with the cruelty of a hardened Russian soldier said: “We will simply show them.”

Regarding Popov’s hypocritical objections that Russia does not harm civilians, Buzhinsky emphasized that Russia should act like Israel. Namely, the evacuation of civilians must be announced 24 hours before the attack, and after this time the cities must be wiped off the face of the earth.

While Russian propagandists are trying to sell their public the story that the Nova Kahovka dam was blown up by Ukrainians, the international community is increasingly convinced that this war crime was committed by Russia. General Graube points out that it is impossible to destroy a structure like the Nova Kahovka dam with missile strikes from the outside. This can only be done from the inside, and the Ukrainians could not access there, because the dam is located in Russian-controlled territory. Graube also reminds that in 1941 the Soviet army already blew up the Dnieper HPP, as a result of which at least 10,000 Soviet soldiers died. So for the Russians, it is not the first time that their own are sacrificed.
