Russian PMC Wagner Allegedly Using Mali to Hide Efforts to Acquire Military Equipment: US State Department

Washington has been informed that the Russian PMC Wagner, owned by Yevgeny Prigozhin, is trying to hide its efforts to acquire military equipment and is using Mali for this purpose.

Miller’s direct speech: “There are indications that the Wagner PMC was trying to acquire military systems from foreign suppliers and send these weapons through Mali, which is (used) as a third party. Details: According to him, Washington has imposed sanctions against a number of individuals and organizations supporting the military operations of PMC “Wagner”, and added that the United States will soon be able to share new information on this matter.
