“Information has been received on the preparation of Russian occupiers for the ‘evacuation’ of about 3,100 people from the satellite city of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant,” the report says.
It is indicated that, first of all, we are talking about the removal of 2,700 plant workers who signed a contract with the fake Zaporozhye NPP Operating Organization JSC or another Rosatom enterprise, and members of their families.
“At the same time, we remind you that the Russians banned the ZNPP workers from leaving the city almost from the beginning of the occupation. Also, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, from Energodar part of the families of Zaporozhye nuclear scientists have already been taken to the Rostov region of the Russian Federation“, – reported in Energoatom.
Thus, the invaders prove their inability to ensure the operation of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, since now, according to Energoatom, there is a catastrophic lack of qualified personnel.
“Even those Ukrainian workers who, having signed shameful contracts, agreed to cooperate with the rashists, are going to be” evacuated” in the near future. And this will exacerbate the already highly topical issue of having enough personnel to ensure the safe operation of nuclear power plants even in the current disabled state,” the notice states.
At the same time, Energoatom reports that it is taking all possible measures to form the necessary number of specialists capable of ensuring the safe operation of the plant in the first period after its de-occupation.
“Such a team on a rotational basis will be formed from ZNPP employees who are now in the territory controlled by Ukraine, as well as specialists from other nuclear power plants,” the company explained.
They noted that the speedy de-occupation of the Zaporozhye NPP, the expulsion of the Russians from Energodar and the transfer of control over the plant to its legal Ukrainian operator, Energoatom, is the only way to end the Russian disorder at the ZNPP and ensure its further security.
Recall, as previously stated in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian invaders began the “evacuation” of residents of the temporarily occupied Energodar, Zaporozhye region.
It was also reported that recently there has been an increase in the military presence and activity on the territory of the nuclear power plant.
At the same time, a few days ago, the IAEA claimed that the personnel of the Zaporizhzhya NPP remained in place, despite the announcement of the Russians about the “evacuation” in Energodar.
