Kharkiv was hit by ballistic and cruise missiles. This was announced on social media by the Mayor of Kharkiv, Igor Terekhov.
He reported at least eight hits. Minutes before Terekhov, Oleg Sinegubov, head of the regional administration, wrote in Telegram that 10 rockets had hit the city.
“There are known problems with the power supply of the transport, but our specialists are already working on the restoration of the power supply. For now, we have enabled the trolleybuses to run autonomously,” the mayor of Kharkiv wrote in Telegram.
According to preliminary information, the strike against Kharkiv was struck with two types of missiles – S-300 and X-22.
The S-300 is an anti-aircraft system, its missiles adapted by the Russians to engage ground targets on a ballistic trajectory, while the X-22 is an air-launched cruise missile.

Meanwhile, an air alert was again declared in all eastern and southern regions of Ukraine. Half an hour ago, the monitoring channels reported the launch of missiles by Russian strategic bombers.

After the massive missile attack – fires were reported in Dnipro and Kiev, as well as possible casualties. The Kyiv military administration reports that debris from downed missiles has fallen in several places in the capital.
“According to preliminary data, there is a fire in a multi-storey residential building. The information is being clarified,” the administration’s telegram channel said.
The Ukrainian General Staff meanwhile reports that during the night, 18 of the 22 kamikaze drones launched by Russia were shot down.
