（ＣＮＮ） At least one person was killed and several wounded in a new Russian attack on frontline areas in eastern and southern Ukraine.
Kim, the governor of Mikolayov region in southern Ukraine, said one person was injured after a missile hit in the region late on Monday. Some buildings such as shopping malls were also damaged.
“Miko Laiu was hit by an enemy missile at 11:08 p.m. last night on May 16,” Kim said on SNS Telegram on the morning of the 17th. The blast damaged homes and shops, and hit industrial infrastructure.
In the southern province of Kherson, Russia fired more than 400 shells on the 16th, wounding seven people, including three children, according to the head of the military administration of the province.
In central-south Zaporizhia Oblast, 16 towns and villages near the southern front were hit by Russian shelling. Marasico Governor said. Three people aged between 34 and 61, including a tractor driver, were injured.
One person was killed and another injured in the eastern Donetsk town of Krahove. One person was also injured in Kostantiniuka, which is located on the western outskirts of Bahmut, a fierce battlefield.
