According to German television, Yevgeny Shilko was wounded by Russian cluster munitions in the town of Druzhkovka in the Kramatorsk region of the Donetsk region, 23 km from the front line.
“We were filming the Ukrainian army during a shooting exercise when suddenly we heard several explosions,” said DW correspondent Matthias Boehlinger.

Shilko was taken to hospital, his condition is stable.
