As a high-ranking US official told the publication, the assistance includes the provision of the Ukrainian army, namely:
- additional ammunition;
- mortars;
- Javelin anti-tank missiles;
- anti-aircraft missile systems.
“We are looking at a range of options to help defend Ukraine. This could include additional defensive arms sales, advice and assistance to Ukraine so that it can continue to fight against a larger conventional Russian military presence,” a Biden administration official said.
