The Russian-installed head of Ukraine’s annexed Donetsk region has imposed a curfewreports Reuters.
Denis Pushilin banned the presence of civilians in the streets and public places between 11:00 p.m. to 04:00 a.m. Monday through Friday.
The decree prohibits assemblies, rallies and demonstrations, as well as other mass events in the Russian-controlled parts of Donetsk Oblast, unless authorized by the Operational Headquarters for Responding to Military Threats in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
In addition, the decree signed by Pushilin introduced military censorship of mail and messages transmitted through telecommunications systems, as well as control of telephone conversations.
