Russian Deputy Prime Minister Husnulin said on 10 local time that after the on-site investigation and other work, the damage to the pillars of the Crimean bridge is expected to be repaired later this week and the necessary steel structures will be provided by Tyumen, Kurgan and other areas, Voronezh and other places provide.
Crimean leader Aksyonov said on the same day that he intended to resume freight traffic on the Crimean bridge by October 16. It will take almost a month and a half to completely restore the bridge.
