Now that it is about sanctions against Russia, the United Kingdom is quickly being looked at. London has become a stopping place for wealthy Russian billionaires in recent decades. Many of them have close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin. It earned London the nickname Londongrad, or Moscow on the Thames.
