Russian Aggression Leads to Tragedy in Ukrainian Villages: Investigation Underway

The Minister of Defense announced an investigation into the incident

Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said that an investigation into the incident would be conducted.

“I sympathize with the families of the fallen soldiers from the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Transcarpathian Brigade. All the circumstances of what happened will be clarified. I instruct the Main Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defense to conduct a full investigation into this tragedy,” said the Minister of Defense.

He also promised to make every effort to protect our people and give all honest answers to the families and friends of the fallen soldiers.

Earlier it was reported that Russia hit the Ukrainian military during the celebration, causing many casualties.

According to sources, the incident occurred in one of the front-line villages of the Zaporozhye region. The military was gathered for an awards ceremony for Artilleryman’s Day. At that moment, the location of the celebration was struck.
