Russia on the Ukrainian border is not the only threat

The head of the State Border Service, Serhiy Deyneko, named the main threats on the Ukrainian border. The main challenge for Ukraine remains the aggression of the Russian Federation.

According to him, Russian aggression is manifested through the growth of the spectrum of military threats on the border and from the direction of the territories occupied by Russia.

Together with the Russian aggression, Deineko said, today there is a a wide range of other threats:

• the threat of terrorism,
• sabotage and subversive activities,
• illegal migration (especially transit),
• drug smuggling,
• illegal movement of goods, primarily of the excisable group, to the countries of the European Union.
