The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports this on Facebook. Rocket and bomb strikes by the occupiers on industrial and civilian infrastructure facilities continue.
The main efforts of the Russian Federation are focused on establishing full control over the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions and holding the previously occupied territory.
“Signs of the start of an offensive operation in the Eastern Operational Zone are being recorded. In the Slobozhansky and Donetsk operational areas, the aggressor intensified offensive and assault operations in certain directions. There were no significant changes in the activities of the enemy troops in the Volynsky, Polessky and Seversky directions,” the report says.

In the Slobozhansky direction, the Russian grouping, which includes separate units of the 6th Combined Arms Army of the Western Military District, coastal troops of the Baltic and Northern fleets, continues to partially block the city of Kharkov and destroy residential areas of the city with artillery fire.
In the Izyum direction, the aggressor operates in separate units from the 1st Tank Army, the 20th Combined Arms Army of the Western Military District, the 35th and 68th Combined Arms Armies of the Eastern Military District, and the airborne troops. It is expected to continue attempts to attack on the Izyum-Slavyansk and Izyum-Barvenkovo directions.
In the immediate vicinity of the state border with Ukraine, on the territory of the Belgorod region, the deployment of helipads is noted.
In the Donetsk and Tauride directions, the grouping of the occupying forces continues to concentrate its main efforts on capturing the settlements of Liman, Kremennaya, Popasnaya and Rubizhnoye, as well as establishing full control over the city of Mariupol.
The enemy stepped up offensive operations in the Severodonetsk, Popasnyansky, Kurakhovsky and Zaporozhye directions. To build up efforts, the enemy continues to concentrate additional tank and artillery subunits.
Fights for Mariupol continue. The enemy is conducting assault operations in the area of the seaport.
In the Yuzhnobugsky direction, individual units of the occupiers continue to concentrate their main efforts on holding the occupied lines and shelling the positions of the group of troops of the Defense Forces. The enemy does not stop trying to establish full control over the territory of the Kherson region. Conducts military operations in the area of the village of Aleksandrovka, has no success.
Enemy ship groups in the waters of the Black and Azov Seas continue to isolate the sea coast of Ukraine, as well as conduct reconnaissance.
