Russia continues to help Vietnam preserve the remains of President Ho Chi Minh

President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum Protection Command, the National Institute for Scientific Studies of Medicinal Plants and Essential Oils and the Russian Biomedical Research Center on Thursday March 18 approved coordination contents by 2025 to protect safely the remains of President Ho Chi Minh and maintain it in good condition.

In an online meeting, experts from the National Institute for Scientific Studies of Medicinal Plants and Essential Oils and the Russian Biomedical Research Center said they were ready to help their Vietnamese counterparts fulfill their special political task.

The long-term preservation of the mortal remains of President Ho Chi Minh aims to engrave in the hearts of every Vietnamese his name, his work and his great merits to the Fatherland. It is a symbol of solidarity and national reunification.

The mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, Ba Dinh Square, the area of ​​the remains of the Presidential Palace, the Museum of President Ho Chi Minh are the places still frequented by Vietnamese and foreign friends visiting the country. It is also the places where many important political events of the country take place.

For the past 52 years, under the leadership of the Vietnamese Party and State, with the assistance of the Soviet Party, State and people of yesterday and Russian experts today, cadres and soldiers from the 69e Division, known today as President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum Protection Command, and the Mausoleum Management Committee, carried out their mission of preserving President Ho Chi Minh’s mortal remains and hosting the delegations who came to pay tribute to him.
