Rumor: Honor V40 Lite Luxury Edition Coming Soon?

Jakarta, Selular.ID – In early 2021, Honor launched its V40 5G smartphone in China shortly after the company split from its parent company, Huawei. Now, details about a new variant of the device have emerged online.

Then recently, it was rumored that the company will soon launch its newest smartphone, the Honor V40 Lite Luxury Edition, and now more details regarding the smartphone, which is positioned as the ‘Youth Edition’ of the Honor V40, have been revealed. As quoted from Gizmochina yesterday, Monday (15/3/2021).

The Honor V40 Lite Luxury Edition is said to have a similar design to the Huawei Nova 8 smartphone. Furthermore, it was also revealed that the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset.

However, not much information about smartphones is currently known. The company has not confirmed the official launch date.

According to leaked images, the upcoming Honor V40 Lite Luxury Edition shows that the phone will have a center hole at the top of the screen to accommodate the front camera. On the back, there will be an oval-shaped camera module with four sensors, similar to the Huawei Nova 8.

In addition, several more Honor smartphones are reportedly in the works, which are expected to be officially launched soon. These smartphones include Honor 40S, Honor 10C, Honor X20, and Honor 40. It is still unknown which of them made it into the global market.

Meanwhile, the company is also working on a new flagship smartphone which is expected to launch in June this year. This device, which is likely to be part of the Honor Magic lineup, is alleged to be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset.
