RUGBY – According to a survey of our colleagues from Olympic noon, Bernard Laporte would be better placed than Florian Grill for the FFR elections scheduled for early October.
The current president of the French Rugby Federation, Bernard Laporte, is favored by voters according to a Midol poll, with just over 42% of voting intentions, against 32% in Florian Grill for a little more than 25% of undecided. A little over 15 days before the election, the former coach of the XV of France would therefore be in a good position for a second term at the head of the federal body. Surprisingly, he would have the support of many professional clubs, despite the known conflicts with the National Rugby League about internationals. Nothing is lost yet for Florian Grill, who still has a few days to reverse the trend before the federal election scheduled for October 5.
