The exclusive contract had not been extended, RTL announced in a press release on Friday. Both sides were looking for “new challenges”.

Jenke went to “physical and psychological limits”

Therein, RTL managing director Jörg Graf thanked the 54-year-old von Wilmsdorff for the years of cooperation in which he “literally went to his physical and psychological limits”. “Out of great respect for Jenke, I wish him all the best and the success he has had with my station.”
