Four teams took part in the competition, which played two rounds in the main tournament. The two best teams made it to the finals to determine the winner of the title in two games in a series of up to two victories.

The main tournament was won by the Rožkova / Djačenko team with victories in all games, which was surprisingly joined by the Diana Dadzīte / Ojārs Briežs duo in the final. For Dadzite, this was her debut competition.

Rožkova / Djačenko started the first game in the final without the right of the last stone, however, they managed to steal a point in the first and even four in the second end, taking the lead with the result 5: 0. Dadzīte / Driedis regained only one point in the third (1: 5), which gave little hope to play. This also happened because the three points in the fifth end (10: 1) stolen by Rozhkov / Dyachenko determined the fate of the game. In the sixth Dadzīte / Briedis added two more points and in six ends he acknowledged the superiority of the opponents with the result 3:10.

The second final game was much more intense, as after five ends there was a militant draw 3: 3 on the board. Everything was decided by the sixth end, in which three points were taken after the great match of Rozhkov / Dyachenko, reaching the result 6: 3. This knocked their opponents out of the beat, as another point was stolen in the seventh (7: 3). The teams started the eighth end, but Dadzīte / Briedis failed to play the lost and their hands were shaken.

Thus, winning in two finals, the team of Curling Club “Riga” Polina Rožkova / Sergejs Djačenko became the first champions of Latvia in wheelchair mixed pairs. They also gained the right to represent Latvia at the World Championships, which are scheduled to take place from 12 to 17 January in Lohja, Finland.

Jūlija Pavlovska-Killiane / Aleksandrs Dimbovskis of the Paralympic Curling Association “Aleksandrs Dimbovskis” took the 3rd place in the championship with two victories in six games of the main tournament, but the Paralympian Curling Association “Alll” team Galina finished the competition with one victory. Alexander Vitohin.
