Royal baptism in Sweden: – “Mysterious” man in royal baptism picture

On Saturday, there was a large-scale, royal celebration in Stockholm when the prince Julian Herbert Folke was baptized. There were probably many royal house fans who eagerly followed when Princess Sofia (36) and Prince Carl Philips (42)’s youngest children were baptized in a 115-year-old christening outfit.

The two became parents for the third time in March, and the boy was this weekend baptized in spring water from Öland, a tradition King Carl Gustaf (75) started when his own children were baptized.

The baptism brought together the Swedish royal family and other guests, including midwives and doctors.

Unknown face

Princess Madeleine (39) and her husband Chris O’Neill (47) were also present, a few weeks after The princess was depicted on Swedish soil for the first time in over a year and a half. The couple and the three children Leonore (7), Nicolas (6) and Adrienne (3) have been “corona fast” in the US most of the pandemic.

During the weekend’s royal baptism, a gentleman also appeared on the church steps who has not been seen in royal contexts before.

The whole family gathered for a christening after the event, but next to Chris O’Neill a hitherto unknown face appeared.

Swedish Women’s Magazine writes that several have noticed this mysterious man, and at the same time comes with the answer to who he is.

It is the girlfriend of Princess Sofia’s sister Lina Hellqvist who has made her entrance into royal company. Her fiancé is Mattias Wikström (47).

– The pandemic meant that the guest list for the royal christening was limited. Nevertheless, a man completely unknown to most people appeared. However, he was not so unknown to Princess Sofia and her family. It is the new girlfriend of the princess’ sister, Lina. She divorced in 2018, but has obviously found happiness again, says See and Hear royal house expert Caroline Vagle, and adds:

– This was the new girlfriend’s first appearance in a royal context, but certainly not his first meeting with Sofia and her four princes.

Formerly married

Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia have previously had sons Alexander (5) and Gabriel (3), who were born in 2016 and 2017 respectively. The youngest man, Prince Gabriel, was born at the end of March.

Lina Hellqvist was married to Jonas Frejd for two and a half years, but the happiness was not to last.

However, everything seems to be rosy with her new boyfriend, with whom she lives in Järfälla outside Stockholm, according to Swedish Women’s Magazine.

Not much is known about his person, but now that royal followers have opened their eyes to him, it is natural to assume that he will eventually become a more public person.
