Jack Poels, best known as Rowwen Hèze’s singer and guitarist, will go solo in the Netherlands from May onwards. “A listening concert full of subdued americana music with small words about big emotions,” will be on Friday Facebook page reported.
Recently it was announced that the 62-year-old Poels on March 27 the solo album Blue Vear is going to release. The performances around that record start on 2 May in Paradiso in Amsterdam.
Later it will be the turn of TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht, the Lutheran Church in Groningen and Luxor Live in Arnhem. Poels concludes his tour on July 15 and 16 in his Limburg town of America.
The singer will also release his single on Friday In the backyard from. That song will, just like the recently released Eleven including eleven, on the album Blue Vear stand.
Poels has never performed solo before, but has made music outside of Rowwen Hèze. For example, he worked on the project with musician Leon Giesen Holland America Line, of which an album of the same name was released in 2004. The latest album from Rowwen Hèze, Foreword, appeared in 2019.
