Bordeaux 2-3tab Marseille

This is THE most undecided series since the start of these playoffs and this is confirmed again this evening. Kévin Spinozzi allows Bordeaux to return to the locker room with the advantage. The second third is one-sided, the Boxers pound Marek Ciliak with 22 shots to 3! And yet, Marseille is picking up. Teddy Da Costa scores quickly but Loïk Poudrier responds on powerplay. The advantage is again Bordeaux but the Spartans reset the counters to zero through Maxence Leroux. No goals in the last third, heading for overtime. Neither team gains the upper hand over the other during these ten additional minutes. On penalties, Gennadi Stolyarov and Teddy Da Costa made the difference. Kévin Spinozzi’s powerful throw changes nothing, Marseille wins. The promoted team takes the advantage in the series and could reach the semi-finals in the event of a victory on Monday at POMGE.

Angers 5-2 Cergy-Pontoise

Angers has burned all its jokers and must now win the three remaining matches to reach the semi-finals. So when Sebastian Ylönen missed his restart at the end of the first third, Braeden Shaw punished Cergy-Pontoise, despite being numerically inferior. Unlike previous times, the Dukes do not let themselves rise. #22 Angevin doubles the lead shortly after mid-match. Brodie Reid took advantage of Valdois’ indiscipline to give the locals three goals before the final third. Emils Gegeris sounds the revolt but Braeden Shaw scores a third goal to calm the visitors’ enthusiasm! Each team will subsequently score a power play goal. Théo Gueurif stands out for the Jokers, Nikita Scherbak for the Dukes. Match 6 at Aren’Ice promises to be hot!

Rouen 6-3 Nice

Uninhibited, Nice surprised Rouen at the start of the match. Jesper Larinmaa scores his first goal of the series to give the Eagles the lead. The Dragons return from the locker room with much better intentions and try their luck 25 times in the second third! They found the net five times, twice thanks to Christophe Boivin, twice through Francis Hardy-Perron and once thanks to Kristaps Sotnieks. The Niçois can nevertheless be satisfied with having won two of the three periods. Indeed, Ondrej Kopta scores from the start of the last act. If Francis Hardy-Perron scores a third goal, Louis Vitou scores the last goal of the game just before the siren. Against valiant Maralpins, Rouen validates its ticket for the semi-finals in five matches.
