Last week Ryanair stunted still with airline tickets for five euros to destinations such as Ibiza, Madrid and Malta, places for which code orange applies because of the high number of corona infections. Other companies also try to attract customers with competitive offers.
Price dumping
“They do everything to fill those planes”, GroenLinks MP Kröger grumbles. “That is of course not the intention,” says D66 member of parliament Paternotte. The CDA, the PvdA, the SP and the ChristenUnie also want this price dumping to end.

In a debate tonight, they will ask Minister Van Nieuwenhuizen to talk to airlines to end these practices. The SP goes one step further and advocates a complete ban on holiday flights to orange areas.
Schiphol Test Street
There are also many questions about the test capacity at Schiphol. The test street at the airport is only open during the day and can test up to 1400 people per day.

MPs want the opening hours of the test street at the airport to be extended, because risk flights also arrive in the evening. D66 further calls on the cabinet to also deploy rapid tests at Schiphol.
