WAGENINGEN – On the Lomardi in Wageningen, a fire suddenly started behind a house because a roof caught fire. The fire may have been caused by the barbecue.

The fire brigade was quickly on the scene to put out the fire. It was quickly scaled up to a major fire because there was a risk that the fire would spread to the home.

The roof is completely burned out and there is also considerable damage to the house. The Salvage Foundation takes care of the settlement of the damage.
