Cristiano Ronaldo affirms having a respectful relationship with colleagues, Lionel Messi. Victory Juventus on Barcelona doesn’t change anything.
Cristiano Ronaldo came out as the winner in the meeting against Lionel Messi, when Juventus met Barcelona at the Camp Nou, Wednesday (9/12/2020) in the morning WIB. Ronaldo scored twice from the penalty spot with the Bianconeri winning 3-0.
The goals and victories were crucial as Juventus progressed from Group G as group winners. Both have collected 15 points and are equally strong in head to head points, Juventus are superior in head to head on goal difference.
For Ronaldo, the victory over Messi at Camp Nou last night improved his record. He has now collected 11 victories compared to Messi’s 16 from a total of 36 meetings in all competitions.
From all these meetings, Ronaldo now has 21 goals while Messi is one goal ahead.
The two of them greeted each other warmly in the match, even though they were seen by many as bitter rivals on the green field. Cristiano Ronaldo insists he never thinks Lionel Messi as a rival.
