Ron calls his participation in the program his comeback, but the public is less enamored with the Viking. It leads to his exit from The Masked Singer. “I’m very happy and I have to tell you: I don’t think it’s a very big disaster…” Ron confesses in conversation with Rick. “The fun was fun, but physically it was a bit tough. I wouldn’t have wanted to miss it and I’m glad I did.”

Ron jokingly goes on to tell Rick to procreate. Both Brandsteders can now participate in The Masked Singer on their resume. Ron also wants that for Brandsteder junior. “I hope history repeats itself. If I ever become a grandfather, which probably won’t be for a while, then I hope my grandson or granddaughter might be in ballet or as a talk show host, that he may continue history.”
