Roman Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes to retain the WWE Universal Championship
Head of the table Roman Reigns continued his grip on the WWE Universal Championship by defeating 2023 Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes in a thrilling WrestleMania main event match. The American nightmare was close to achieving his dream and snatching the title from Reigns, but Solo Sekoa’s intervention at the end of the match – taking advantage of the referee’s inattention – paved the way for Roman Reigns to drop Cody Rhodes with a spear knockout and settle the match.
