Thirty-one days is the time needed to cover the 2,500 km by bike, from Montluçon to Quimper. Or not exactly. Roland Iddir, a 51-year-old Montluçonnais, will go to the Breton city, but not directly.
Indeed, this great sportsman will make a detour via the great crossing of the Massif Central (GTMC), the Hérault, the Basque Country and the Atlantic coast to Quimper.

Originally, he was due to leave on July 1. For personal reasons, the challenge could not be done at that time. Today, his situation finally allows him to make this great trip.
However, this additional waiting time will not have been wasted. Through a friend, Roland Iddir got in touch with Marcel Chatton, head of the Montluçon Heart and Health club, created under the aegis of the Cardiology Association of Auvergne, affiliated to the French Federation of Cardiology (FFC ).

In all the towns and villages where they will pass with his brother, Alain, who will follow him in a motorhome, they will distribute information sheets, while endeavoring to sensitize the populations.
Convenient. A online jackpot was launched to support Roland Iddir, and a Facebook group will allow to follow his epic. The funds that will not be used for the challenge will be given to associations.
