Rogério Ceni is already at Morumbi for his debut as coach of São Paulo. The former goalkeeper commands Tricolor tonight against Ceará, for the 26th round of the Brazilian Championship.
Ceni’s debut takes place the day after his return to the club. He was hired yesterday afternoon to replace Argentine Hernán Crespo, who left Tricolor in “a mutual agreement” after a sequence of poor results.
In the first game after the return, Ceni made changes to the team. He promoted the return of right-back Orejuela and midfielder Martín Benítez.
Another change takes place in midfield. Luan left yesterday’s training with adductor pain and is unable to play today. For his place, the chosen one was Igor Liziero.
São Paulo is scheduled with Volpi; Orejuela, Miranda, Leo, Reinaldo; Liziero, Igor Gomes, Benitez, Gabriel Sara; Luciano and Calleri.
