Rockstar takes action against various hacks on GTA Online

Rockstar Games has deployed a patch on Grand Theft Auto Online to get rid of God Mode hacks and silver exploits that were disrupting the game.

While there are many ways to make money in GTA Online, some players are quick to bypass the rules to get what they want directly.

To do this, they often use external hacks or various bug exploits present in the game.

Some hacks disrupt players’ daily lives on GTA Online

In the past, Rockstar has put an end to several of these hacks, including one that recently allowed several players to accumulate billions thanks to the Casino.

A new fix

However, their crusade seems far from over. In a recent patch, the developers took care of another set of hacks and exploits plaguing GTA Online, as Tez2 reported on Twitter.

As with the weekly updates that come out every Thursday, players didn’t have to download anything.

Many players have also reported that as soon as they connect, they are redirected to their main character. Indeed the switch between the different characters had been the source of a glitch.

As far as God Mode is concerned, hackers are now capable of dying, whether they are flying on an MKII Oppressor, in a military jet or simply using a normal motorcycle.

However, unlike previous bugs and exploits, it is unknown if players have been sanctioned.

Following the problem of duplicating casino chips, Rockstar had clearly indicated that it had carried out a wave of bans, so all that remains is to wait a little to find out if this will be the case again.
