Rockstar responded to players after months of various rumors and guesses.
Not a week goes by without a rumor, leak, or information about the next Grand Theft Auto game. Most of these reports are simply false information that relies either on concepts or news from developers or former Rockstar employees.
This time the message about GTA 6 was sent from the studio’s official main account, so there is no question of screen fake etc.
What did Rockstar say?
This is the first time Rockstar has actually answered a GTA 6 related question. So far, it has been more of a reading between the lines. The news, on the other hand, is not very comforting. It’s just a message that there are no new messages.
We’re talking about Rockstar and the community that has the right to find clues everywhere, so it didn’t surprise anyone that this was taken as an announcement. Why? Rockstar asks you to follow the official news channel.
Why has it been decided now to reply to one of the millions of different messages about GTA 6? Why was it not done much earlier? It is not known, everyone has to judge for himself whether this is a complete contradiction to the ongoing work on Grand Theft Auto 6, or vice versa.
